Format:             

Didactic.  This course can be given via Zoom.  

 

Time Frame: 

9 x 1-2 hour lessons

 

Objective:

This in depth course aims to teach nurses the skills to safely recognise, reduce transmission (droplet and airborne precautions, cleaning), triage, test patients, manage staff and deceased patients with Covid 19.  It was designed for third world countries and focuses primarily on infection control principles to reduce transmission.
