Time Frame: 

2 - 3 hours

Objective:

Learn up to date manual handling techniques of patients in order to reduce injuries in the workplace.  A needs analysis will be done first to ensure training prioritises your specific needs and then training will be done in your workplace utilising your equipment in small groups.  Focus will be on following the principles of ergonomics and manutension.  This course can be expanded to suit the needs of your environment and those requiring specific training for example PCA's in the operating suite moving unconscious patients.
